Kicking the charter season off in a big way

Yesterday kicked off off our Charter season full "stream". Had a great family on board celebrating Dad's birthday with a full day gulf stream trip. Departed Myrtle Beach Yacht Club at 6:00 am clearing Little River Inlet about 6:20 to some great seas and set course for the Black Jack.

Set lines and trolled toward the Steeples where we found a great hard break and weed line running to the NE. Water was blue and clear. Saw plenty of life but nobody was hungry for our offerings. Trolled up and down the break from Blackjack to Steeples and beyound picking up a nice little Dusky Shark that was released unharmed and later picking up a bailer mahi. Was also treated to some aerial acrobatics from a large Ray and a couple of porpoises. Too bad I was slow with the camara on those.
